Nice but all my curtains are tied up with a simple knot.

Woww is sooo nice

Bear in mind that the ribbons etc that are shown hanging down to be tied means that the blinds shown would not be child safe, if made professionally they would be illegal to sell as they wont conform with the new British Standard BS EN13120:2009+A1:2014, I would strongly suggest you visit your local curtain maker or blind specialist who will advise you how to install a compliant and safe blind. Safer blinds save babies!

should be called (tools you need) not how to make.
March 11, 2016 at 1:41 am
there is an easier way with no wood, glue, tools, etc…it is called deco wrap and is soooooo easy
March 11, 2016 at 1:41 am
You know what? I'm a guy, I don't have all these tools, but I have a sewing machine.
I'll be ready with this project in under an hour, but gathering all this stuff would take me at least a day.
PS.: Liquid for sealing silk?! What?
March 11, 2016 at 1:41 am
Seriously, who has all of these tools ?

This was helpful. HOWEVER, a couple of tips: If using a patterned fabric, be sure to match the pattern from window to window. This will require extra fabric depending on the fabric repeat; there are website that explain how to measure this, but if you don't know how or don't feel confident about it, have someone at the fabric shop help you. Also, I would drill the pilot holes before attaching the fabric to avoid accidentally drilling the fabric!
